PUBLIC NOTICE The Lynchburg City Council will hold a public hearing for citizen comment on August 11, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, first floor, City Hall, 900 Church Street, on the following matters: Petition of Across the Bridge, LLC (Tony West) to rezone approximately four hundred thirteen thousandths (.413) acres at 421 Rivermont Avenue, 610 Rodes Street, and 412 Blackford Street from R-4, High Density Residential District to B-4, Urban Commercial District to allow the use of an existing building as fifteen (15) dwelling units and the construction of a parking area. Petition of Milestone Tower Limited Partnership IV, d/b/a Milestone Communications for a conditional use permit at 1501 Fenwick Drive to allow the construction of a one hundred fifty-four (154) foot monopole to be used for telecommunications in an R-1, Low Density Residential District. A copy of all draft ordinances, Future Land Use Map amendments, rezoning, conditional use permit petitions or any other matter advertised by this legal notice may be viewed in the Department of Community Development, Planning Division, second floor, City Hall, 900 Church Street between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on the internet at At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission/Council will consider adopting each item advertised by this legal notice.
