Danville Police charged a North Carolina woman in a three car crash on Friday afternoon.

Officers say a little after 1:00 p.m., a 1999 Dodge Stratus hit the back of a 2009 Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck, on South Boston Road, just past the intersection with Mountain Hill Road.

The pick-up truck went left, and stopped in the median.  The Dodge then hit the back of a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu.

EMT's took a 52-year-old woman and 54-year-old man from Alton, who were in the Malibu, to Danville Regional Medical Center.

Police charged 35-year-old Jessica Sarah Brendle of Milton, North Carolina with failure to maintain proper control.
