A fire damaged a home at 209 Scales St. in Danville on Sunday morning.
When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy smoke billowing out of the house and began their attack on the blaze, said Danville Fire Department Capt. Randy Barrett.
Three engines, a ladder truck, a safety vehicle and a command unit responded, as well as about 15 personnel. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
No one was found in the home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, Barrett said.
