Man injured in Ringgold stabbing

A man was stabbed in the early morning hours Monday in Ringgold.

After responding to a call reporting a disturbance, Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to the 1600 block of Kentuck Church Road to find a man suffering from injuries to the torso consistent with a stab wound, the sheriff’s office reports.

The man, who was conscious when the deputies arrived, was transported from the scene to a local hospital.

His current condition is not known, the sheriff’s office reports.

No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation as an isolated incident.
