The City of Danville invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with four days of patriotic festivities, educational programs, live music, family activities, and fireworks from July 1-4.
The celebration will honor the nation's rich history while highlighting Danville's own connections to America's story through community gatherings, historical presentations, and family-friendly entertainment.
"There's nothing better than seeing our community come together to celebrate the Fourth of July," said Mayor Alonzo Jones. "Whether you're enjoying live music, learning about our history, visiting the market, or watching fireworks with your family, there's something for everyone. As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, I hope you'll join us in reflecting on our shared history and enjoying this special time together."
