On Oct. 20, the Rotary Club of Danville welcomed Dominick Grembi and Tyler Bushong from the Southern Virginia Problem Gambling Collaborative at Danville Pittsylvania Community Services. They shared how their team works to reduce the harm caused by problem gambling through prevention, awareness, education, outreach and connecting people with resources. They reminded attendees that problem gambling can affect much more than finances — it can impact families, relationships, work, school and everyday responsibilities. For more information, visit www.svpgc.org. The club meets every Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Danville Conference Center.
