Ninety-eight runners and walkers converged on Angler's Park and the Danville Riverwalk Trail for the 25th annual Run for Justice, held June 6. Winners in the children’s event were: Charles Huterson, first, and John Huterson, second, for the boys and Lorelei King, first, and Clair Holden, second, for the girls. Winners in the 5K run for men were Greyson Heater, first, Landon Pelchat, second, and Tim Coady, third. For the women were Mayra Lemus, first, Emily Boyer, second, and Samantha Stanfield, third. Winners in the 5K walk were George Riggins, first, Bernard White, second, and Ramones Mariangel, third, for men. For women, Angela Atkinson, was first, Theresa Pressley, second, and Tara Cook, third. Winners in the 10K for men were Timi Adeshokan, first, Noah Campbell, second, and Tobias Lutz, third. Delores Ford was first for the women, followed by Carrie Beaumont, second, and Heather Ashe, third. Male masters winner was Rodger Crank, and the female masters winner was Angela Smith. Award winners received support from students in the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing and members of ACJA-LAE's Alpha Upsilon Lambda Professional Chapter. John Wilt served as race director.
