At the June 18 meeting, guest speakers Steve Scott, right, and Dan Guarino, center, provided Danville Kiwanis Club members with an update on the Sept. 12, second annual Three Sisters Marathon and Half-Marathon. The event is a Boston qualifying marathon. The marathon and half-marathon feature an out-and-back running course with four loops for the marathon and two loops for the half-marathon. Both events offer a relay option. A 5K walk at 6 p.m. and 5K run at 7 p.m. are set the day before on Sept. 11. All races will commence in the historic Danville River District.
