See photos of Hundreds of runners race through Danville

The sun was barely starting to rise, hidden by clouds, when hundreds of runners dashed off from downtown Danville in the second annual Three Sisters Marathon on Saturday morning. About 10 minutes later, participants in the half-marathon started their trek, which was two of the four loops as opposed to the full marathon. The night before, a children's race and 5K also brought people together at Danville's new Riverfront Park. The race was the final chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
